Acquisition and new management hire will further Rimini Street's mission to redefine enterprise software support
LAS VEGAS - January 11, 2006 - Rimini Street, Inc., an alternative maintenance and support provider for Siebel software licensees (NASDAQ: SEBL), today announced that it has completed the acquisition of CRM and ERP technology consulting firm Sidney Blue, LLC. Details of the transaction were not disclosed.
Founded in 2002 and based in the San Francisco area, Sidney Blue is a boutique consulting firm specializing in implementation, upgrade, and technology services for Siebel licensees with large, complex environments. Sidney Blue has earned a reputation for outstanding expertise and experience with Siebel products, providing services both directly and as subcontractor for other vendors needing deep Siebel expertise and resources. Over the years, Sidney Blue has served the needs of many Siebel licensees, including premier clients such as Toyota Financial Services, Philips Medical, Peregrine Systems, Juniper Networks, Blue Cross/Blue Shield, Restoration Hardware and others.
The new acquisition furthers Rimini Street's mission to redefine enterprise software support by enabling accelerated support team growth and expanding Rimini Street's pool of highly experienced and trained Siebel specialists. As a result, Rimini Street will be able to immediately provide its support services to even more Siebel licensees than originally planned for 2006.

In addition to the acquisition of Sidney Blue, LLC, the company also announced today that it has appointed former Sidney Blue president & CEO Dan Slarve as vice president of IT. In his new role, Slarve will continue to focus on support for Siebel software while overseeing the architecture and operation of Rimini Street's proprietary support technology and managing Rimini Street's technology partner relationships.

Slarve has more than 10 years experience in the information technology business, providing services to numerous clients over the years. His experience with enterprise software products spans from SAP and PeopleSoft to Siebel, and others. Additionally, Slarve is a Siebel Certified Consultant. Earlier in his career, Slarve spent several years as a management consultant with Andersen Consulting (renamed Accenture). Slarve received a Bachelor of Arts degree in political science from the University of Colorado, Boulder.
On January 5, 2006 Rimini Street announced the immediate availability of its anticipated Support for Siebel Products. Since its launch several months ago, Rimini Street has worked to build the necessary processes, tools and infrastructure to provide a next generation support program that will enable Siebel 5.x, 6.x (2000), and 7.x licensees to remain on their current software release without any required upgrades for years to come and with significant annual savings of 50 percent or more.
