Rimini Street Appoints Industry Veteran Anderson Aquino to Lead Brazil Expansion
Company Accelerates Investment in Brazil in Response to Strong Demand for Third-Party Support Services
LAS VEGAS, May 13, 2013 – Rimini Street, Inc., the leading third-party maintenance and support provider for enterprise software, including SAP AG (NYSE:SAP) software and Oracle Corporation’s (NASDAQ: ORCL) Siebel, PeopleSoft, JD Edwards, E-Business Suite, Oracle Database and Hyperion software, today announced the appointment of industry veteran Anderson Aquino as country manager, Brazil. In this role, Aquino leads the continued growth and expansion of Rimini Street operations in Brazil, and will oversee the successful sales and delivery of SAP and Oracle services to Rimini Street clients with operations in the country. Aquino joined Rimini Street in May and is part of the Company’s strategic plan to expand investment in all major global markets in the coming years.
Aquino has a proven track record building, growing and leading businesses in Brazil, including 24 years in the IT industry with 15 years of experience helping customers drive success with SAP enterprise software across South America, including Brazil, Bolivia, Argentina, Paraguay, Peru, Chile and Colombia, as well as Germany, Mexico and the U.S. Aquino’s prior roles include Brazilian country manager responsibility for growing two multinational IT service organizations, Wipro and Everis, and extensive service delivery responsibilities that include project management of many SAP implementations, upgrades, localizations and system operations.
