Thomas Sabol

Mr. Sabol has over 30 years of financial and operational experience with several high-tech public companies.

Mr. Sabol oversees the global finance and accounting teams and is responsible for all financial aspects of the company both internally and externally.

Prior to joining Rimini Street, Mr. Sabol spent the last 18 months providing management consulting (including M&A, CFO support and strategic planning) services to several companies. Prior to that Mr. Sabol was CFO of Comverse, Inc. (NASDAQ: CNSI) a $500 million global software service provider to telecommunications and other enterprise companies (now Xura, Inc.). Mr. Sabol managed all financial aspects of the company including financial and management reporting, SEC filings, treasury, tax, internal audit and investor relations. Mr. Sabol was also responsible for information security, supply chain management and procurement. Mr. Sabol supported the successful sale of Comverse’s billing business (over 60% of revenue) to Amdocs Limited (NYSE: DOX) in July 2015.

Prior to Comverse, Mr. Sabol was the CFO of Hypercom Corporation (NYSE: HYC) a $400 plus million global provider of electronic payment solutions. Mr. Sabol managed all financial aspects of the company along with information technology and supply chain management. Mr. Sabol was instrumental in the successful sale of the company (at more than a 5x increase in the enterprise value of the company in 2.5 years) to VeriFone Systems, Inc. (NYSE: PAY) in 2011.

Mr. Sabol spent over 14 years in the Electronic Manufacturing Services (EMS) industry. Mr. Sabol served as both CFO and ultimately COO of Plexus Corp. (NASDAQ: PLXS), which grew from a $300 million US-based company to a global $1.0 billion plus EMS provider during his 8 plus years with the Company. In addition, during his tenure as CFO Plexus completed a $150 million secondary offering and completed 10 acquisitions in the U.S., Mexico, Malaysia, China and the U.K. Mr. Sabol also served as CFO and a board member of Suntron Corporation (NASDAQ: SUNN) which was a $300 million EMS company which was taken private in 2007.

Earlier in his career, Mr. Sabol was Vice President and General Auditor for Kemper Corporation (NYSE: KEM), a $6 billion financial services company. Mr. Sabol also spent 10 years with Coopers & Lybrand (now PriceWaterhouseCoopers), a global public accounting firm, and was the audit manager on four initial public offerings (IPOs).

Mr. Sabol received his Bachelors of Science – Accounting degree from Marquette University and is an active certified public accountant.
