Oracle has announced a new Support Rewards Program to help its customers save money. In fact, this much-hyped rewards program won’t likely help anyone spend less on Oracle support, but simply locks you into Oracle cloud and increases your annual support spend.

According to Oracle*: “For every dollar spent on OCI, you’ll earn 25 cents in Oracle Support Rewards. And if you’re an Unlimited License Agreement customer, you’ll earn 33 cents for every dollar spent.” (*Source:
