Bringing joy and connection to our seniors
In Singapore and around the world, many seniors face the quiet challenges of aging — from social isolation to the loss of community connection after retirement. Without regular engagement or support, these struggles can take a toll on both emotional and physical well-being.
Care Community Services Society (CCSS) is a Singapore-based nonprofit organization that plays a vital role in supporting seniors through community-based activities and opportunities for social interaction, promoting both physical and emotional health in their golden years.
As part of the Rimini Street Foundation’s ongoing commitment to “Support Humankind,” Team Singapore partnered with CCSS’s CareElderly Active Ageing Centre to sponsor 33 seniors and 3 caregivers on a fun-filled excursion to the newly-opened Oceanarium.
From marine life interaction and learning to sharing stories and laughter over a dim sum feast, we were delighted to create joyful memories with our new friends. Above all, it was a heartwarming experience that reminded us of the joy that simple moments of connection can bring.
Community is at the heart of Rimini Street’s mission to “create equal opportunity for all.” We’re honored to have partnered with CCSS to support their year-round efforts in enriching the lives of our seniors, fostering inclusion, companionship and a sense of belonging for those who often need it most.
