The updates include the 2015-C update for PeopleSoft clients, which were delivered ahead of the vendor’s own scheduled delivery date for similar updates, as well as updates for Oracle E-Business Suite and SAP releases, as needed.

The updates provide clients with significant new tax, legal and regulatory changes required for the United States, Canada, Argentina, Australia, France, Israel, Mexico and the United Kingdom. Updates for the United States and Canada

In the United States and Canada, Rimini Street updates included tax, legal and regulatory changes required by various state, local and provincial agencies.

For clients in the United States, Rimini Street delivered numerous tax updates at the state and local government levels. At the state government level, updates included changes to the Employer Medical Assistance Contribution in Massachusetts; a minimum wage increase in Minnesota; and an additional state tax withholding for non-resident aliens in North Carolina. Rimini Street also delivered updates for quarterly wage reporting for several states, including Colorado, Maine and Massachusetts, as well as for the District of Columbia. At the local government level, Rimini Street provided local tax changes for dozens of municipalities in California, Kentucky, New York, Ohio and Pennsylvania.

For clients in Canada, Rimini Street delivered several tax table updates for British Columbia, New Brunswick, Newfoundland and the Yukon Territory.

Updates for Countries in Europe, Latin America and Asia-Pacific

With tax, legal and regulatory delivery capabilities for nearly 200 countries, Rimini Street recently provided many required updates to its global clients, including those in Argentina, Australia, France, Israel, Mexico and the United Kingdom.

For example, in Argentina, Rimini Street updates contained changes to electronic purchase and sales reporting. In Australia, delivery included Start of Year changes affecting payroll, as well as updates related to the new Australian SuperStream standard, including superannuation processing and the Tax File Number (TFN) Declaration update as required by the Australian Taxation Office. For updates in France, Rimini Street delivered changes to computerized accounting for the new required FEC audit file. In Israel, updates included the annual withholding tax report (856) changes. Updates in Mexico included electronic payroll receipt changes as well as support for Federal daily minimum wage changes and enhancements related to electronic accounting requirements by the Mexican Tax Administration Service (SAT). Updates in the United Kingdom contained rate changes to beneficial loans, as well as updates to the P11D(b) form needed by employers to report end-of-year expenses and benefits for employees.
