Desmond Whitt, VP, Technology Support Services
Mr. Whitt is leader of technology support operations at Rimini Street, where he drives new innovation to both customers and internal operations to ensure the best use of technology for business needs. He holds the patent on Rimini Street's Smart Proxy product.
Mr. Whitt has more than 25 years of experience developing, supporting, and deploying systems in the enterprise software industry. Before joining Rimini Street in 2011, he held leadership positions at several industry-leading software companies, including web development and hosting company Big8Software, which he founded and operated, and Kadiri, an early leader in the HCM space.
Prior to that, Mr. Whitt worked at PeopleSoft, where he was technical services manager for the Midwest region, manager of the install/upgrade group in the Global Support Centre, and staff developer for the Alliance Solution Center, where he developed joint technical solutions with partners including IBM, Sun, and HP. He received PeopleSoft's Outstanding Contributor Award for personally leading installations for more than 30 customers.
Mr. Whitt holds a Masters of Engineering in Electrical Engineering from the University of Louisville in Kentucky.
