Rimini Street Issues Next Set of 2017 Global Tax, Legal and Regulatory Updates for North America, Europe, Latin America and Asia-Pacific

Tax, legal and regulatory updates issued for client operations, leveraging proven ISO 9001-certified development processes

LAS VEGAS, October 3, 2017  Rimini Street, Inc., a global provider of enterprise software products and services, and the leading independent support provider for Oracle and SAP software products, today announced delivery of the next set of scheduled, mission critical, global tax, legal and regulatory updates for 2017. The Company delivered updates to Rimini Street’s PeopleSoft, SAP, Oracle E-Business Suite and JD Edwards clients operating throughout North America, Asia-Pacific, Europe and Latin America.

Updates for the United States and Canada

In the United States and Canada, Rimini Street provided tax, legal and regulatory updates required by the Internal Revenue Service and the Canada Revenue Agency, as well as federal, state, local and territory governments. At the U.S. federal government level, Rimini Street delivered updates related to the IRS 1099 forms, Employer Information (EEO-1) Report as well as W2 and Tax Table updates, amongst several others. As a key differentiator in Rimini Street services, the Company continued to deliver only client applicable, state specific updates, including local tax rate changes and updates for Paid Family Leave. For clients in Canada, Rimini Street delivered 2017 Budget and Income Tax changes.

Updates for Asia-Pacific, Europe and Latin America

  • For Asia-Pacific, multiple updates to support country-specific Payroll tax filing modifications and reporting such as the End of Financial Year Payroll changes including Tax File Number (TFN) reporting and further updates on the new Goods and Services Tax (GST) legislation.
  • For Europe, delivered payroll reporting changes as well as public sector payroll changes and updates for VAT Control Statements.
  • For Latin America, delivered Nfe (electronic invoice) changes, which are effective October 2018.
